While on the ground this aircraft looks incredibly front heavy, but once it's in the air it becomes proud and graceful. Getting it off the ground is effortless thanks to professional flight dynamics that match the performance and balance of the Waco YMF5 perfectly and ensure your flight experiences are authentic.
The aesthetic of Waco F series is beautifully recreated and it certainly feels true to it's real life counterpart. The wooden textures on the beefy propeller mirror that of the snug virtual cockpit, that also has wood finish in the panels. The fact that it is an open-cockpit makes it a great plane to use for recreational purposes like sight-seeing, and the tandem cockpit offers the opportunity to perhaps run a few tours out of it.
Alabeo have put some serious work in to the 3D model and the result is spectacular levels of detail right down to the rivets, and the material shines and reflections are very special; the staggered wings allow you to catch the reflection of the ground in the underside of the top wing, and it's really quite breathtaking. There are five stunning liveries in vibrant colors like red and yellow, that are perhaps better suited to aerobatic flying. While others are a bit more low key and would make a better fit on a sight-seeing tour. Of course, with the addition of a blank texture, you can make what ever type of livery you want to suit your needs and artistic style.
With a shallow learning curve and solid, reliable flight dynamics, the Waco YMF5 is a fun and versatile aircraft that is a breeze to fly and would be a good fit for any pilot, whether this be the first or the tenth aircraft to find residence in your virtual hangar.

One of the best Detailed airplanes made for FSX, from the outer skin, down to the rivits, all great detail. This plane gets off the ground fast, easy to handle in the air," the flight dynamics are right on." On landing this plane just floats on to the runway. Great plane for sightseeing, slow enough to catch all the sights,and fast enough to get you home before dark. Great price, this plane is well worth more than $20.00 Try it you won't be dissapointed..

I purchased the WACO YMF5 download on 11/25/2017 and the aircraft doesn't load correctly. I think I downloaded the wrong version. I am operating FSX and I noticed this download is for FSX/P3D. Is there any way I can remedy this problem? patnlew@starstream.net
