The entire area within the M25 is covered - so not just the city itself - this covers the whole of Greater London too. The scenery expansion includes over 1,200 square miles of accurate VFR scenery data. The scenery included is "photoreal" - which means that it is based on real images of the area from satellite data.
Photoreal scenery is not too demanding on the graphics card either as it simply draws the ground from texture files (2D). These texture files are what is included with the package. The original texture resolution is 25cm but converted and optimized for display at 1m in Flight Simulator X. Also included is accurate terrain data at 9.6m for even more realistic hills, valleys and variations in the terrain.
Just Flight have obtained the scenery data from Infoterra Ltd - leaders in aerial photographic data and have bundled it altogether in this great package which covers London and the surrounding area.
Fly over the River Thames, Millennium Dome, Docklands, Tower Bridge - all with accurate detail.
The airports located within the scenery area covered are London City (EGLC), London Heathrow (EGLL), Biggin Hill (EGKB), Denham Aerodrome (EGLD), RAF Northolt (EGWU), Leavesden Aerodrome (EGTI), Hatfield Aerodrome (EGTH), Elstree Aerodrome (EGTR), Fairoaks Airport (EGTF) and Stapleford (EGSG).
Also included with the scenery are high resolution improved real water textures and improved lighting at night. Lastly, there is also a handy PDF manual included to help you install and use this wonderful scenery package. It will also answer any questions you may have about photoreal scenery.
