The tutorial will show you how to use GPS to follow published instrument approaches, including how to select, load, and activate them. You will also learn how to choose your position points, see your approach on the GPS screen and follow your approach by GPS.
Once you have mastered these lessons and tips, the advantages of GPS navigation will become immediately apparent. For example, the GPS shows the selected approach path and data, and you will be able to access detailed information about your approach. And you can either allow the GPS and autopilot to follow the approach, or you can take over manually.
You can use GPS for IAP in the following MSFS aircraft
- Cessna 172 Skyhawk
- DA40 TDI
- DV20
- Robin CAP 10
- G1000
