This public-use airport resides on the shores of Kauai and is a regional airport mainly for regional air taxi services and for general aviation. It also operates as a tourism hub, with many skydives, helicopter flights, and trike ultralight flights taking off from here.
The runway, taxiway, and apron enhancements are highly accurate, as are the airport buildings themselves.
The surrounding areas, a combination of sandy beach, rocky coastline, and green fields and woodland, have been captured and reproduced in stunning detail and authenticity. The custom-placed vehicles, boats, and other general objects further bring out this realism.
