Review
"No sooner than landing in the South Pole on our recent Pole to Pole excursion did we then need to dust down our snow laden flight jacket and take to the skies once again with Flight Simulator X: Discover Europe. As with the previous First Class Simulations add-ons Discover Europe is all about the experience. Whilst on the main Flight Simulator X disc you could annoy a German priest as you buzz 30ft over his church in a high powered jet here it's all about tourism, taking in picturesque villages, coastlines and mountain views..." - SquareGo

Another program like Around the World in 80 Flights, so I will write the same review here with a few subtle changes.
You can, of course, look around Europe, do a number of google searches looking for the coolest things there to see, find appropriate airports along the way through this area and then not have to order this program.
I have often read other reviews from people who say just that, "why pay for this when you can do it all yourself?" Well, my answer is that doing it all yourself would take a lot of time. Here you can decide to spend a little bit of money and have all of this done for you.
A simple choice, I beleive: take a lot of time and put in a lot of effort, or decide that you would prefer to concentrate on flying. Each to thier own.
These routes through Europe are very well chosen. Any of the flights will take you somewhere interesting and you are also provided with a good amount of material about the most important attractions to pique your interest. The cool little classic Piper that you recieve is, in and of itself, worth a good deal of the price. It is a fine aircraft, fun to fly and reasonably well documented.
My special tip: If you have a bit of money on the side :-), buy Switzerland Pro to enhance the Alpine flights. That program is quite expensive, but is the the single most massive and effective terrain-modifying program I know. So, if you like flying over the Alps, and especially if you know the area, this program is tops.
