Danish Airfields X: Tunø Scenery for FSX/P3D

Tuno is an interesting part of Denmark and with this mod, you can finally come and visit this lovely little island properly, instead of the dull and dead feeling version that existed previously. By making use of the idyllic land here and the beautiful sea that surrounds it, the Kattegat Sea, this Danish island is a popular part of the overall Danish culture.

An Authentic Remake

The island itself is quite limited within the world of FSX and P3D, and with this mod, you can see its stunning flora and wildlife come to life in a way that has never been done in the past. Since no cars are allowed on the island you can notice a significant change to the way that it looks when compared to many other parts of Denmark.

This mod helps to capture that difference perfectly, with only the small private airfield here allowing you to enter with a vehicle. You can land at the 309m landing strip, sloping towards the beach, with this excellently detailed mod that captures these elements and makes them stand out better than ever before.

This mod does a great job of capturing the accuracy of the village on the island as well as the airfield, helping the whole place come together and look the part. In the past, it felt far more generic than it is, and this adds a bit of freshness and personality. It also comes with high definition aerial imagery used from above to help capture the island in terms of its position, its size, and its overall scale and layout.

Night and Day

You get both night and seasonal textures so you can see this island at any time of the day or year that you want, helping it to really change and become a whole new place each time. Add in the totally authentic, custom-built vegetation such as volumetric grass, bushes and flowers are you are left with the greatest possible quality of the product.

The Tuno Harbour, another important part of the island, has been included with all of the detail possible. Form the custom objects made from scratch to fit this venue perfectly right down to the farm buildings and equipment, you can see that Tuno takes a far more effective look at what Danish culture is like away from the major cities like Aarhus.

Many other smaller details have been included, too, helping the whole thing come together and offer a far more comprehensive styling.
