The Cessna 206 Stationair is a beloved choice for many people, despite the fact that it first flew over 50 years ago. It was first released in 1962 and eventually finished up in 1986, before being resurrected by some kind souls who had used it in the past and fell in love with it.

Its combination with a powerful engine and a rather in-depth cockpit ensured that it started to become a huge hit with pilots who preferred a larger size of cabins than many of its contemporaries was providing at the time.

The Cessna 206H, though, through some very timely introductions to the series in 1998, they managed to give pilots an extremely similar configuration whilst also adding in extra doors for easier access for the staff and the passengers who are flying the aircraft.

As far as comfort goes, the H edition certainly improved upon this and made the aircraft quicker and more comfortable for fans of the series to use. The 206H is still a particularly popular name out there on the market thanks to their long standing history as a large part of the Cessna team, but one thing that is noted is the lack of demand for a new model.

This allowed the 206H to establish itself as a bit of a player in the market, and even allow for the aircraft to still get plenty of attention today.

The remake of the H in the 90s was a massive change in the direction for Cessna, with more than 220 H models being produced since.
