Svolvaer X Scenery for FSX/P3D

This is totally compatible with the wonderful FSX SP2 package, as well as the FSX SE and P3D editions – this means that you can use this little add-on anywhere in this harsh and tough winter climate! With the weather here, though, you can be sure that you’ll be tested on more than how good you are as a pilot – your overall skills will be tested as someone who can dodge terrain and stay on time, too!

What’s New?

• A totally fresh remake of the brilliant Svolvaer Airport has been include, which makes sure the nearby terrain has been edited as well so you are flying into these professionally managed airport regions without going too far. This will make it much easier than before to enjoy yourself when you arrive in this unique location, ensuring that you can use the accuracy of the terrain to get used to a rather peculiar part of Scandinavia.

• The seasons will vary depending on when you come here, but if you arrive in the winter you’ll find that it’s covered in lovely 3D snow that looks excellent and adds far more to the process than you might have previously imagined.

• The airport buildings are all included in here, as well, as it does a great job of capturing the detail and strength of the airport itself and making sure that you can find the landmarks and key areas with just a cursory glance at a picture of the real airport.

• This was created using brilliant modeling techniques which are made to ensure the models are not only spectacular to look at, but easy for the machine to handle. This will improve and change your overall detail and enjoyment of the software that you are using, making it much easier for you to both handle the add-on and enjoy it.

• Specular effects and normal mapping are both added in here. This is improved by the use of custom animations and windsocks as well as night time effects helping the world feel more of a part of proceedings.

• Static airport are included all over the place, as well as photorealistic scenery of the nearby time of Svolvaer, making sure that you have a location that captures the depth and beauty of the real place without going too far.

• The customized mesh terrains look absolutely wonderful and help to cover the area clearly.

• People walking around add another bit of life to the area – if you feel it’s too resource heavy, though, you can use the Performance Configuration Tool to reduce setting needs.
