Railworks Activities Vol. 4 for Railworks

Railworks Activities: Volume 4 is the fourth installment of Roussillon Aero Simulation's (RAS) Train Simulation series.

In this edition you will be able to experience more picturesque scenery and life-like train simulation than ever before.

Railworks Vol.4 grants you access to many new scenarios to drive on the lines, so take a seat and get ready for a whole lot of fun. As a conductor in Railworks Vol.4 you can choose between many different trains for operation, whether it be the beautiful Class 101 DMBS BR Green, the reliable Class 101 DMCL Blue HC, the legendary Class 86 Freightliner Green or any other of the many trains to choose from.

There will be no shortage of excitement when transporting freights, and meeting schedules in the various scenarios is thrilling to say the least. To wet your appetite we have decided to include a sample briefing of some of the scenarios you might encounter in Railworks Vol.4

Route: Carlisle Local Special Service 01

Train: 380 EMUScotRail

Length: 2 hours, 45 minutes

Conditions: Snowy

Brief: It's festive season. You've been tasked with one of the last routes before Christmas. Scotland locals will be finishing their last-minute Christmas shopping and then hopping on the train to head home. You will be required to make a round trip from Carlisle to Carstairs. Maintaining a tight schedule is of utmost importance. Your ability to maintain a constant speed will be tested in this scenario. It will be necessary to observe junctions as you enter Carlisle station. Parking will be at Platform 6, met through Platform 4.

Route: WCML North Freightliner Service 02

Train: Class 86 Freightliner Powerhaul Length: 2 hours, 10 minutes

Conditions: Inclement weather (stormy)

Brief: This scenario will test your ability to transport different goods and/or freight. Instructions can be located by pressing the F1 key on your keyboard. You have to transport different goods & freight. Follow the instructions on the table (F1 key). Upon arrival at each station you will adjust speed accordingly. Maximum speed on the route will be 75 miles per hour. Restricted speeds will be as low as 20 miles per hour. When you reach Carstairs, it will be required for you to manually alter junctions in order to progress further in the scenario. 

Manufacturer Description

Take place in the great Class 86 Freight Liner and the old Class 101 DMU on the great WCML North line. Transport freight up and down the network, deliver freight-car on different places of the line. Drive the Class 101 DMU on the lovely Bath - Templecombe line.

You will have to drive the Class 380 in an extra scenario.
