As far as cities go in the country, Dusseldorf is the seventh largest and thus has become a massive part of the finance and trade industry within Germany since it was founded.

A city renowned for its unique trade structure and the massive range of DAX and F500 companies set up in the city itself, this is also a location known for its academic class when it comes to the likes of fine arts.

Indeed, electronic music which is so popular today is seen by many to have been influenced massively within the city itself. This is a city which is home to many creative minds who know what they are doing and what they always want to do – and this is no different when it comes to the hyper organized and extremely modern Dusseldorf Airport.

In this selection of the Mega Airport range, this product will help you enjoy a unique and important part of modern Germany unlike it’s ever been seen before. The unique changes to models and the overall improvement of textures and the like throughout ensures you will be joining a charming and unique aircraft location.

Today, it’s a key part of the Lufthansa airline and for that reason it has become a popular part of German culture for many reasons. If you have been looking to visit Dusseldorf in a flight simulator, this gives you the greatest reasons to do so!

What’s New?

  • The first thing most people will notice about this new range of features is that they tend to be detailed and changed to fit with a much higher standard of design. This uses highly detailed textures and changes to fit with the Dusseldorf International Airport which includes many different buildings and structures. By utilizing these people are far more likely to understand and love spending time around the airport, given the various changes.

  • This includes a set of design changes which are using photorealistic imagery to bring it all together. Vehicles, buildings and various other parts of the airport will now look the way that they do in real life thanks to these changes. This is further enhanced by the use of a brilliant aerial image to make sure the whole airport carries the correct look and feel along the way. Another big change has been the addition of new ground textures which are appropriate to the season you are flying in. No more sunny skies and clear grass when taking off during a snowy December flight!

  • Textures have likewise been improved and changed to fit with the runway, apron and taxiway structures and designs. They are accurately portrayed using various tools to make sure it all follows the correct path, giving you something fresh and exhilarating which looks positively wonderful. Even the signage has been updated and improved as of 2012, with visual docking systems also improved greatly to match the same year.

  • These simple changes will make such a massive difference to the whole area, giving you a much more attractive and effective looking region. This is improved as the grass is now made from using a 3D structure instead of a flat texture; this looks far more authentic and also makes it much easier to control and enjoy the design that you can see when flying around. The world below now looks far more authentic!

  • New and detailed navigation systems are included which follow ILS, VOR/DME, NDB and even ATIS designs to give you something fresh and forgiving which also happens to look wonderful. These detailed changes really do everything they can to sell the airport and make it look truly spectacular.

  • Improved by the fact that every single building within the airport has been the subject of fresh new textures being include to make sure it all comes together and looks the best it possibly can.

  • New office complexes are included within the Airport City, too! These make a huge change, as you head over Wanheimer Street, giving you a totally fresh and unique range of buildings down below that look staggeringly attractive.

  • New dynamic objects are included, too. These look excellent and give you the likes of apron vehicles as well as typical traffic which looks excellent from above. This uses AES Lite, though, and only works within the confined of FS2004 or FSX – not compatible with P3D.

  • New standard AI traffic is compatible but so is MyTraffic X and other key traffic add-ons to give you the most improved level of performance possible. This ensures that you will be flying around an airport which is up to date but also feels as bustling and busy as it should.

  • New manuals are included in both English and German for easy browsing and reading, also helping you learn locations and features within the airport.

  • Up to date charts are included which make it much easier to fly around the skies and know what is down below – charts are modern and follow the same pattern which was used to design this model in the first place.
