Mega Airport Berlin-Brandenburg X Scenery for FSX/P3D

In this modification as part of the Mega Airport collection, you will now have access to the fantastic Berlin-Brandenburg Airport. This is something which totally revamps the old airport so that it finally carries the style and format of the real thing.

Now finally in scale and carrying all of the hallmarks that could be possibly added to the party, this does a great job of helping the whole airport finally represent the massive, colossal and stunning airport which it is built to represent.

The airport itself is one which has seen many problems over the years, though, further fueling its reputation. The airport itself began in 2006 as a construction product and the plan was to have it finished by 2011; however, the progress has always been delayed and with no opening day in sight it’s unlikely when we will see this amazing airport opening up!

Rather than making the public wait, though, this package lets you come here and see the stunning airport for yourself. It’s always going to be finished at some stage but instead of waiting for a mod to be made at the time, this total conversion adds in the airport and ensures that it has been designed with all known features and additions being included.

Now, when you take off, you can enjoy a unique system which will be incredible easy to manage and to have some fun with when flying around!

Graphical Changes

• A fresh and clear recreation of the original Berlin Brandenburg airport has been included in here, giving you a take that lets you see the idea of the real thing.

• Comes with the Schönefeld Airport included, too, which gives you the same level of precision and design included throughout the process.

• Two brand new AFCAD versions are included that come with both airports and just the SXF airport – the choice is yours entirely, depending on performance.

• Don’t worry about the airport looking the same regardless of the either – this makes the most of fantastic scenery to provide winter textures, too.

• New VFR landmarks are included which look excellent and will give you the likes of the Walterdorf shopping Centre in the simulator, making everything feel even more authentic.

• New dynamic objects have been included which look wonderful and add another layer of authenticity to the whole area, using AES Lite.

• Animated and fresh new visual docking systems are included which look excellent and do everything that you need to understand and enjoy this specific process.

• ·Detailed new navigation systems which use ILS, ATIS, NDB and VOR/DME to give you the easiest way to see yourself around and make sure you avoid any accidents!

• Fantastic new shadow renditions are included which provide you with high end shadowing on all 3D objects, improving the ground by using a baking style to make it look excellent, too.

• High resolution textures for both day and night are included in an excellent 2048 x 2048 resolution.

• ·Runway, taxiway and approach lights are all placed faithfully to where they should be according to both aerial imagery and the official airport charts.

Performance Changes

• To make the airport feel as authentic as possible, this utilizes authentic stop positions for every aircraft type so that you never park in the wrong place.

• Excellent coverage is provided without ever hampering performance despite covering more than 100km2 of distance in this package, giving you unrivalled control despite 0.2-0.4m/pixel designs.

• Complex and unique mesh terrains are used to ensure that even the smallest features like streets are made to look far more authentic.

• More than 64,000 new autogen images are placed which make sure the whole aerial image above looks spectacular and brings the whole region to life.

• Fantastic usage of 3D grass and vegetation looks wonderful without ever slowing down or hampering the performance levels that you receive when using this mod.

• A new configuration setting has been created to provide the highest level of performance regardless of what system settings you may be trying to use.

• Highly detailed charts are improved to help you understand what you are doing and where you need to be going at all times, improving flight accuracy.

• Fully compatible with most high-end traffic AI systems such as MyTraffic X and AI Traffic add-on settings, making it much easier to control and enjoy with your older additions.

• Comes with full compatibility for Ultimate Terrain X, FS Global and VFR Germany along the way. These make a massive difference to your overall level of performance.

• Fully compatible with Airport Enhancement Services systems, too, making it much easier to get go grips with and use alongside other mods.

• Includes editions for both FSX and P3D which makes it look much easier than ever before to use this regardless of preference.

Note: This modification has limited functionality when it is being used with Prepar3D. Please keep this in mind when you try to fly the aircraft as it does not come with the AES Lite support within P3D, meaning that ground traffic will be minimal/missing.

Also, the night lighting is a variant of the FSX version due to limitations. This is the same with transparent windows in the airport as well as the fog-lighting effects which were added.

These limitations should not because you too many issues, though, as the airport still maintains its new style.
