RAS Helicopter Missions offers nine different challenges for the virtual pilot. Each one is completely detailed, from the pre-flight inspection and briefing, startup, take off, cruise and the task itself. Scenes range from Flushing, New York to the Grand Canyon to Saint-Tropez in France to the top of a volcano in the Caribbean.

You’ll call on all your skills, savvy and experience to locate a yacht at sea, transport passengers around New York City, or locate and rescue some sheep on a windswept mountaintop in New Zealand.

Every mission is self-contained, and performed in real time. Depending on the challenge, you could find yourself in the air for an hour, or over four hours, which requires you to keep a careful eye on the fuel gauge and prevailing weather conditions. Some missions are multiple role, as you patrol the Grand Canyon, providing assistance as needed throughout your busy day.

Objectives: Found sheep’s mislead at Lamalaw Top on the West of Dunedin (New Zealand).  As R22 pilot, a farmer asks you to help him to find his sheep’s. The weather conditions are not very good.

RAS Helicopter Missions Vol.2 – R22 – La Mole (France)

Estimated time to complete: 2 hours 30 minutes
Aircraft: Robinson R22
Objectives: Make a flight for Saint-Tropez Heli-Taxi (France)  You are a Robinson R22 helicopter pilot for the company "Saint-Tropez Heli-Taxi ". Your boss needs you today to make a flight and various tasks. The weather is clear today. Just a little trick. Once you have pass the waypoint ‘’Cassandra’’, head to the 060 and you should found the yacht near the waypoint ‘’DIVUL’’.
ATTENTION: there is no refuel in this mission. You have to found the yacht as quick as possible. If you put to much time to found it, you will not have enough fuel to finish the mission.

RAS Helicopter Missions Vol.2 – R22 – Saint-Pierre (Réunion Island)

Objectives: Transport a photographer at the volcano Le Piton De La Fournaise (Reunion Island)  A famous photographer wants to take pictures of the volcano "Le Piton De La Fournaise". A person recommended you to transport the photographer over the volcano. The weather report is not very good today and the flight may be shaky.

RAS Helicopter Missions Vol.2 – JetRanger – Grand Canyon (USA)

Objectives: Make diverse missions for the police of Grand Canyon National Park (United-States)  You are a pilot for the Grand Canyon police station. You will have to make diverse missions during your day. The weather report is very good today.

RAS Helicopter Missions Vol.2 – JetRanger – Flushing (New York – USA)

Aircraft: Bell 206B JetRanger
Objectives: Transport passengers around New York for the company "Flushing Air Taxi" (United-States)  You are a pilot for the company "Flushing Air Taxi ". Your task is to transport passengers in optimal conditions of security and comfort. It is cold in this period of the year, but the weather report is correct. Think of adjusting your altimeter. You begin your service at the end of the day (5pm). Use your NAV 1.

RAS Helicopter Missions Vol.2 – JetRanger – Tromsø (Norway)

Radio communications are not very clear. Think of adjusting your altimeter. You will start at Tromsø airport. In this mission you will have to use your NAV.1. The first two doors are not indicated, it will be necessary to you to find them with your NAV.1.

You are a AgustaWestland EH101 pilot for the US Coast Guard. Your base is situated on the airport of Clearwater in the state of Florida. The day looks difficult. The weather report is not very good. Your visibility risks to be reduced. Think of adjusting your altimeter.

RAS Helicopter Missions Vol.2 - EH101 – Aberdeen (Scotland)

Objectives: You are a pilot for the company ‘’North Sea Platform Shuttle’’. You will take off from Aberdeen (Dyce) airport (Scotland).  You are a pilot for the company ‘’North Sea Platform Shuttle’’. You have to transport staff on different oil platform on the North Sea. As usual, in this period of the year, the weather report is not good. Show professionalism. Do not forget that you transport persons. A crash in the North Sea means the end of your career and worse, the loss of persons. The deck-landing on an oil platform is always delicate, especially in bad weather. Take time to make it. Think of adjusting your altimeter from time to time.

You have to protect the life of your crew as well as the helicopter. Think of adjusting your altimeter from time to time.
