The airfield is primarily used as a microlight training center, which would perhaps make an ideal location for new pilots to the virtual skies who are looking to sharpen their skills somewhat. This free add-on has been brilliantly put together and offers custom-designed 3D objects and textures.
If you do decide to opt for this freeware, the developer notes that this location is just south of RAF Woodvale and north of Liverpool. It isn’t easy to find, however, so the virtual pilot should look for the river.
Also, if landing on 18, beware as it is flooded at the beginning. There is one runway and a parking spot.
