After a tricky start (Finger trouble on my part), the installation was a great success and this magnificent aircraft was ready to take to the skies. The quality and detail is stunning and the test flight from Richmond AB (YSRI) to Canberra (YSCB) was a perfect flight plan to try out all the features. Being a large aircraft, I let it have plenty of sky and the ILS approach onto runway 35 could not have been better. With reverse thrust and with the spoilers out, the stopping distance was short enough to turn off into the Air Force buildings and parking area. Everything during the flight was smooth and positive and it left me to look forward to further flights.
Installing into P3Dv5, I found that it wanted to go into the C/: Program Files (86x) until I discovered that it should have gone into C/: Program Files and after deleting the (86x), the problem was solved.

This version works better on the FSX base program than the same plane downloaded for the FSX Steam Version. It just seems to operate without jumping and stuttering. The settings are the same on both platforms. This is worth the price. The plane flies great, takes off quick, and wants to keep flying, so you got to force the thing down. Arm Spoilers if available, or even have them out a little when landing. Lots of power in those engines.

I bought C17 and CH53. Helicopter works fine and nice to fly but when load C17 it is simulator pause mode and wont come out despite pressing P or using options. Have contacted Virtavia but they say no tech reason for it doing this as been out since 2010. Waiting to hear back.

This aircraft is simple to fly and very detailed in and outside of the airplane. The sounds are excellent. The only problem is getting the rear cargo door down to the ground.
