After downloading the sound file I was surprised how accurate the sound is. The JT8 had a unique whine to it as I remember. As to realism on the flight deck, the whine wasn't as easy to hear owing to the fact the engines were a considerable distance away. All that aside, I do recommend the product. And if you're up for it and your speakers can handle it, crank up the volume while in spot view for take off.
